“Sculpture has always been my natural way of interacting with the world and relating to it. A vision of the form, the materials, the textures have always defined my work. Influenced by architecture, the construction of buildings and spaces and everything related to their materials, these influenced me from childhood through direct relationship with my family, also linked to the earth, nature and everything that had to do with the land cultivation and its direct relationship with botany. Many of my works have the shape and color of the earth, the red from mud and its textures, which end up transforming and drinking from Etruscan artists, from African artists who stylize their figures as Masai, or of artists like Giacometti or Louise Bourgeois.”
