METAPHYSICAL EXPRESSIONISM

My base is on experiences of the subconscious, of irrefutable truth, the universal certainty that is impermanence, transcending ordinary life with the resurrection of humble, forgotten matter. Paroxysm of everyday reality from an Epicurean perspective, with Dadaist reminiscences. Each common object conveys an exquisite luxury,of which we are aware and where we assume our fate. In the unconscious mind; there is the creative factor, the reservoir of all energy, the past, present and future.

I begin with a series of errors, and correction on the part of feeling, until what I was looking for shines before me. I subjugate quantum physics, entropy, the poetics of the ephemeral, as the genesis and meaning of the spirituality in art. The figure hinders, does not permit an imitation of external nature. The painting becomes an event, an alchemical ritual, where the viewer must find, based on his previous sensory perceptions, sensitivity and aesthetic experiences, a meaning that symbolizes a common morality. A reflection or rationalization, adapted to a critical and contemporary ideal of beauty with a “free spirit”, is required.

The artist glimpses, exhorts existential problems through ontological solutions, without being controlled by accepted norms. The essence of being is its becoming, not being in itself. Re-educating consciousness provokes a reason for why art is completely conformed, it all is about us and is inherent with that object, with a romantic impulse of amiable social denunciation, with the desire to intensify expression through action and gesture, the color as a particle that dances in cellular disorder around the released fabric, build an exciting present, a metaphor of self-assertion with unpredictable but existential results.

Finding a creative principle, that is not an imposed style or technique, is the goal.

The protagonism of the process has the same significance as the result itself, attached to an emotional content that invites us to be exactly how I feel in that moment; It is up to the observer to decipher it. The painting becomes a wall or a mundane town square with a vision not only visual, also tactile, musical, fragrant.

The conceptual doubt is usually the same: “this can be done by a child.” My answer is no; provided that it contains: spontaneity, originality and scarcity. There is an internal connection that is difficult to argue about.

The bottom line does not lie in judging whether an opera is good or not; time will take care of that. Others shall have to predict.

The aesthetic, philosophical, cultural or social values ​​present are linked to appearance, and to the premeditated use or abuse of the material. Its transformation has an impact on motivation and aesthetic dialogue. It requires an intense reflection on the authenticity of the work in itself..
