An artist with great sensitivity towards pictorial matter, his work is full of vitality. Although he moves in the fields of geometric abstraction, the forms and objects, more than just being present, seem to throb on the canvas. His works offer compositions that are almost musical, full of lyricism and imagination, to turn each of them into a visual poem.
Geometry has always been present in his art, in his last works, his geometry is warmed by the impulse of color, the temperature of the material and above all by Balagueró’s constant thirst and hunger to paint and draw.
