Lidia Masllorens (*1967, Girona) is an artist with high recognition value, especially through her large-format facial images, with which she transports us into a world of feelings and details.

Expressivity is the most important thing for her and her direct brushstroke resembles Japanese calligraphy in terms of precision and discipline: in every stroke, the beginning, the direction and the form are important. There is nothing casual about it and yet she succeeds in giving the works a philosophical meaning. She leaves nothing to chance and often replaces the brush with her own hands.

Her works have been exhibited in Spain, but also in London, Paris, Berlin, Basel, New York, Miami and L.A. This is her first exhibition at the gallery. (100 kubik press-release)
