“Blind House” is an incisive artwork by collaborative artists Paloma Muñoz and Walter Martin that brings into question our ideals of house and home, privacy, and safety.

As opposed to the idea of thinking glass houses were beautiful, a safe harbor and an example of classic modernism, Blind House presents a series of houses that artists Paloma Muñoz and Walter Martin have envisioned without windows. The exhibition also features an actual glass house planned for the center of the gallery, revisiting the whole notion of a glass house as an example of sophistication, luxury, and modernism.

In a darkening an era of surveillance and the internet, for Martin and Muñoz, Blind House serves as “a metaphorical solution to the full on campaign against personal privacy.
